At CES 2021, Intel unveiled the Core i9-11900K desktop processor. According to Intel, this chip will be the most productive solution on the market.
The processor received 8 cores / 16 threads, which operate at up to 4.8 GHz. The maximum frequency will reach 5.3 GHz. Compared to the Ryzen 9 5900X, the Intel chip is 4% faster on average. The systems were tested using an RTX 3080 graphics card.
The company said the new processors will deliver up to 19% faster instructions per clock than Comet Lake. Integrated graphics will be 50% more productive. It also became known that the Rocket Lake-S family is aimed at gamers and enthusiasts.
Sales will begin during the first quarter.
