ASUS has announced the TUF Gaming B550-PRO motherboard designed for building gaming desktops on the AMD hardware platform. The novelty is made in the ATX form factor using the AMD B550 system logic set.
Ryzen 5000 AM4 processors can be installed. You can use up to 128 GB of DDR4-4600 (OC) /… / 2133 RAM in the form of four modules with a capacity of 32 GB each.
There are one PCIe 4.0 x16 and PCIe 3.0 x16 expansion slots each, as well as three PCIe 3.0 x1 slots for graphics accelerators and expansion cards. There are two M.2 connectors for PCIe solid-state modules, as well as six standard SATA ports for storage.
The board's arsenal includes a 2.5Gb Ethernet network controller (Realtek RTL8125B), providing a bandwidth of up to 2.5 Gbps. The 7.1 audio subsystems are based on the Realtek ALC S1200A codec.
