Chinese sources have published details about the first flagship smartphone of the independent company Honor, the announcement of which, according to the latest information, was postponed from January 12 to 18.
The Honor V40 measures 163.32 x 74.08 x 7.85 mm and weighs about 184 grams. The smartphone received a 6.72-inch OLED screen with a hole for the front camera with a resolution of 32 megapixels, which is curved at the sides by 80 degrees. The screen has a resolution of 1236 x 2676 pixels and can display 1.07 billion colors. The display supports 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch layer sampling rate.
The main camera must have a Sony IMX766 main sensor with a resolution of 50 megapixels. Additionally, it is expected to use an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, as well as two sensors with a resolution of 2 megapixels for determining the depth of the scene and macro photography.
The smartphone should receive a Dimensity 1000+ single-chip system, 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128/256 GB of UFS 2.1 flash memory. Honor V40 will receive a 4000 mAh battery, as well as support for 65-watt wired and 45-watt wireless charging.
The fingerprint sensor is located under the surface of the screen, the device is equipped with an NM memory card slot. The device is preinstalled with Android 10 with a UI 4.0 shell.
There should be four models in the lineup, which should receive SoC systems from different manufacturers, including Qualcomm Snapdragon.
