Netflix has unveiled a trailer for Kid Cosmic from Powerpuff Girls creator Craig McCracken. The video features a strange team of superheroes fighting against alien forces.
Among the heroes: a teleport girl, a grandfather who creates his own clones, a giant baby, a clairvoyant cat and Kid Cosmic himself.
Synopsis:
Kid Cosmic - a strange nine-year-old boy, gifted with imagination and living with his freedom-loving grandfather in a sparsely populated city, accidentally finds and activates 5 space rings of power after a spaceship crash, thereby sending a signal about the location of the most powerful and coveted artifacts throughout the galaxy. Now the Earth is about to be the epicenter of an epic battle for ultimate power! The guy gives the rest of the powerful rings to the locals, who become strange superheroes.
The first season of Kid Cosmic will air on February 2 on Netflix. It will have 10 episodes.
