Recently, Xiaomi has presented a new flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi11 based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. Together with the device, the company also presented a new version of the MIUI 12.5 proprietary firmware based on Android. The update includes many important improvements in performance, design and security.
Today the list of devices that will receive the new firmware version has become known. The first wave of distribution should take place in April 2021, during which the following devices will be updated:

MIUI 12.5 has received support for multidimensional parallel computing. Now the execution of several tasks will be distributed among all cores. As a result, calculations will be performed more efficiently than before. Also, users will be able to remove more preinstalled programs than was previously allowed. But this still does not apply to the nine main applications such as Phone, Browser, Settings, Clock, and so on. Also, a function has appeared with which you can broadcast the screen to computers with Windows 10, which will allow you to work with a mobile phone remotely. Finally, there are new wallpapers, sounds, a mode of reduced positioning accuracy for users who are attentive to the issue of their safety.
