The developers from Frontier Developments are in no hurry to name an official release date for the major Odyssey expansion for Elite: Dangerous, but an estimated release date has appeared on the pre-order page on Steam.
According to the page, Odyssey will be available on April 21, 2021. Elite: Dangerous's main page still says "early 2021" though.
Perhaps this is just a mistake, or the date surfaced earlier than the intended announcement. Previously, the developers said that the release of the addon is scheduled for early 2021, so this date seems quite plausible.
We look forward to comments from Frontier Developments, although they are unlikely to appear before early to mid-January.
